How to throw a kickass Oscar party (Beau’s-style)

You’re all die-hard film buffs. But when it comes to throwing a decent Oscar party, you’re absolutely clueless. So where do you turn?

The Red Carpet
Go to the nearest Party City on Sunday morning and pick up one of these inexpensive red carpets. Your guests will really appreciate the attention to detail.
Trust us, it’s an amusing touch. Roll out the red carpet.
The Popcorn
If you’re in the Ottawa area, the beloved Mayfair Theatre will deliver the best damn popcorn in the city to your door via UberEats. Cineplex Cinemas are on SkipTheDishes. Get the good stuff. Your guests will appreciate it.
If you’re in the Toronto area, visit your local Kitchen Stuff Plus and pick up a Whirley Pop stovetop popcorn popper. These things rule, and they’re currently on sale. Outside of the GTA Bed Bath and Beyond also carries Whirley Pop.
Bonus: For the sweet stuff, try Montreal’s Squish Candies (they even have vegan options)!
The Beer
Pay a visit to the brewery in Vankleek Hill and stock up on our #feBREWary lineup in 600ml-bottle form.
