Family Run. Employee Owned.
Since 2006 Beau’s Brewing Co. has been brewing interesting, tasty beers like our Lug Tread Lagered Ale using the best ingredients & local spring water. Our family takes pride in creating unique, and wonderful craft beer, conceived with honest consideration for the environment and our local communities, and delivered with a true sense of friendly relationship.
Everything at Beau’s starts with a real love for craft beer.
Our brew team is unrelentingly passionate about quality. We do our best to create inspired recipes that pay respect to the longstanding traditions of beer-making, and at the same time bring you a truly delicious experience. We are super proud of our beer and the awards it has won.
Since 2006, we’ve won more than 100 awards for brewing, package design and business practices. Our track record is proof that we strive for excellence, and care about quality and innovation. It also shows our passion and competitive spirit.
It’s important to us at Beau’s to be actively engaged with the people who drink our beer – and to support the communities in which they live. We do this by building genuine relationships, and through philanthropic outreach in a variety of fun and exciting ways.
Since 2006 Beau’s has donated more than $1 million to charities, community groups and the independent arts. We have pledged to donate another $5 million in the next 10 years throughout every community where our beer is sold.
Beau’s is a close-knit, family-and-friends-run, Canadian craft brewery. While our blended family has grown quite a bit since the early days, our warm and familial company culture has remained the same.
When Beau’s opened in 2006, our father-and-son co-founders Tim and Steve Beauchesne could not have imagined that ten years later they’d begin the process of selling the brewery to their employees.
But in 2016 that’s exactly what happened, and today Beau’s is family run and employee owned – and the people who helped build the company will be the stewards of its future.
In 2013, Beau’s became the first brewery in Canada to achieve Benefit Corporation (B-Corp) status, a third-party certification of businesses that prioritize social responsibility. From our 100% post-consumer posters, brochures, and coasters to our innovative enviro-friendly packaging, we approach each decision with mindfulness of its environmental impact.
Being an independent brewery keeps our minds free to innovate, our hands free to craft, and hearts free to care. The beer we create and the choices we make are authentic, inspired by real people who work here, and who love craft beer just like you.
A crucial part of being independent is our ongoing support for fellow craft brewers. Generosity is part of the Beau’s ethos. We’ll also remain vocal defenders of the craft beer industry. Oh Yeah!
The beer that started it all: Lug-Tread
Available year-round, our flagship beer is multi-award winning. This tasty golden ale is top-fermented (like an ale) and then cold-aged (like a lager) for a lengthy period, giving it light ale notes complemented by a lager-like crispness. Lug-Tread is brewed with malts and hops, and local spring water.
Farm Table Series
Wild Oats Series
Our Brewers break away from tradition and push the boundaries of beer innovation with the Wild Oats Series.
Beau’s Gruit Series takes inspiration from centuries-old brewing tradition. In gruit ales you’ll find herbs, spices and other botanicals replace a dominant hop character, throwing open the door to experimentation.
