“Elvis” Peanut Butter, Bacon & Banana Grilled Sandwich
Although a steady diet of these sandwiches is not recommended, the richness of the peanut butter & toastiness of the bread will complement the beer nicely.

8 thick slices white bread
1 C smooth peanut butter
2 ripe bananas
8 slices bacon, cooked crisp (optional)
2 oz. unsalted butter
Heat an electric griddle to 350 F, or a non-stick pan to medium. Spread the peanut butter on 4 slices of bread. Peel and slice the bananas and divide them between the 4 slices of bread. If using, put two slices of bacon in each sandwich.
Add the butter to the pan and allow to melt completely. Add the sandwiches to the pan and cook for 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Gently turn the sandwich over & cook another 4 minutes.
Remove from the pan, cut in half & serve with a glass of Beau’s Elephant Monsoon.
