BBQ Pepper Chicken Paired with Saison
Saison is the perfect beer to get you ready for the summer! Better yet, try this BBQ Peppered Chicken recipe paired with Saison to get you in that summertime mood!

- 1 lb boneless chicken, breast or thighs
- 60 ml Beau’s Saison (approx. 2 oz.)
- 1 tsp coarse black pepper
- 1 tsp ground coffee
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp coriander, powder
- ¼ tsp cumin, powder
- ¼ tsp chili flakes, optional
Directions
- In a bowl, mix all spices together with beer.
- Toss in chicken and stir until fully coated. Place in a zipper bag or air tight container and refrigerate for 12–24 hours.
- Preheat your BBQ to 400° or high.
- Remove chicken from container and place on hot grill. Sear on each side 8 minutes before turning and continue cooking until chicken is fully cooked and the internal temperature reads 165° on a thermometer.
- Remove from grill and enjoy alongside of a fresh chilled pint of Saison.
*Wanna smoke it up? Try putting your chicken in your smoker instead of the BBQ. Just follow your backyard smoker’s instructions and make sure the chicken is at 165° before you eat.

And these fun additions:
Avocado Crème
- 2 avocados
- ½ lemon
- 1/3 cup cream cheese
- ½ tsp kosher salt
Zest and juice the lemon, blend the avocado, lemon, cream cheese and salt until smooth. Voilà! Add this to the taco for a creamy avocado addition.
Lime Sour Cream
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 lime, zested and juiced
Zest and juice the lime, blend it with the sour cream, drizzle it over the taco.
