A pioneering recipe, Beau’s Nordic Pale Ale offers up the pure perfection of hoppy pale ale infused with a bouquet of botanicals. Inspired by Scandinavian brewing traditions, NPA is brewed with dried heather flower, bog myrtle, yarrow, and rose hips. Herbal notes add delightful complexity and round out the bright hoppy flavour and aromas.

History & Style

Beau’s collaborated with a renowned Danish Brewmaster back in 2013 to develop the original recipe for Nordic Pale Ale. While the recipe has evolved over time, it stays true to its intentions of fusing the best elements of an American-style pale ale with ingredients that reflect the roots of Nordic brewing.

Tasting Notes

Aromas are hoppy and fruity with slight herbal complexity. Taste is hoppy, with malt and herbs in the background. The finish lingers hoppy, with a subtle rush of herb and spice complexity that rounds out each sip. An addition of oats adds body; finishes slightly dry.

Food Pairings

Nordic Pale Ale pairs perfectly with lunch or light dinners such as oven-baked pizza, seasonal greens topped with shrimp or chicken, sandwiches, and spicy international fare.
