Beau’s Brewery winter beer fest “feBREWary” returns for 2015

Weekend bus trip packages from Montréal & Ottawa to Vankleek Hill brewery on sale now, a brand-new Beau’s beer released each week, and 145+ restaurant & pubs participating

VANKLEEK HILL – (Jan. 19, 2015) Beau’s All Natural Brewing has announced details for the 4th annual edition of feBREWary, a month-long winter beer celebration hosted by the local craft brewery. Festivities kick off the weekend of January 31/February 1, and include a different Beau’s beer tapped each week all month long at more than 145 participating restaurants and pubs, as well as events and activities at the Vankleek Hill, Ont. brewery.

On sale today through Groupon are a limited number of bus trip packages for each weekend in feBREWary: departures are from Montréal and Ottawa, both Saturday and Sunday, and the package cost is $10 per person. Each package includes round trip bus transportation to and from Beau’s Brewery, a brewery tour with 4 beer samples, and a $10 gift card redeemable at the brewery’s onsite retail store.

Each weekend will have a cask-tapping ceremony, Beau’s infused or inspired $5 small plates prepared by Beau’s Resident Chef Bruce Wood, games, give-aways and prizes for visitors, as well as a different new beer to try, as follows:

  • Jan 31/Feb. 1: Original Gruit, a gruit ale brewed for International Gruit Day! Made with organic yarrow, hand-harvested bog myrtle, and wild Labrador tea
  • Feb. 7/8: Farm Table Mild Ale, a full-flavoured sessionable brown ale with pleasantly fruity aromas, notes of caramel and gentle hops, and a clean finish
  • Feb. 14/15: Strong Patrick Irish Red, a luscious, red-hued ale with a malty backbone, showcasing toasty toffee notes complemented by some warming alcohol & whiskey flavours
  • Feb. 21/22: Coeur Noir Black IPA, a hop-forward obsidian-coloured brew that pulses with citrusy, resinous aromas – part of the Pro-Am Series and brewed with Jordan Rainhard of Rainhard Brewing
  • Feb. 28/Mar. 1: A top-secret new beer from the B-Side Brewing Label. It’s been more than a year since the first artist-brewery was signed to the label, and Artist #2 will not disappoint!
