Beau’s Brewing Co. will be rolling out an exciting new Small Batch program on March 1, 2020. The program will see a brand-new limited beer release from Beau’s monthly, tapped exclusively at 20 locations across the province of Ontario, and 10 locations in Quebec. Fewer than 1,500 L of each beer will be brewed on Beau’s smaller brewhouse, meaning each location will only receive 1-2 kegs of each release. Beau’s will also supply its Taproom with 200 bottles of each monthly release.
“This program is designed to reward Beau’s biggest fans and best customers with something new and exciting to look forward to each month, and it also lets our talented brewing team do what they’ve always done best – get creative, innovate and have fun with new recipes. The first beer for March really sets a high bar, and I’m already looking forward to sampling the April release.”

The third release from the Small Batch Program is a Rosehip & Hibiscus Spring Weiss. This refreshing and sessionable weissbier pours a hazy shade of rose, with copious white foam and ample carbonation. It features notes of banana and clove with faint floral aromas, mild malt sweetness, and a clean, crisp finish. It’s brewed with locally grown organic wheat, and fruity, organic barbe rouge hops.

The second release from the Small Batch program is an Organic Wai-iti Pale Ale, at a 5.4% ABV. The Wai-iti hops from New Zealand are the star of this pale ale. Wai-iti is a modern hop variety known for its stone fruit notes and rounded bitterness. Dry-hopping with even more wai-iti lends bright citrus aromas to this tasty, hoppy pale ale.
The Small Batch program is launching with a seasonally satisfying Salted Vanilla Porter, at 6.7 % ABV. The beer has beautiful coffee aromas, a vanilla-chocolate flavour, and a mild salty undertone. “If anyone out there remembers our Burnt Rock recipe from 2013, it’s got that same decadent character, elevated and accentuated by the salt,” explains Beau’s head brewer Kevin James, who is spearheading recipe design for Beau’s Small Batch.
The tenth release from the Small Batch Program is a Spiced Rye Pilsner. This golden rye pilsner is full bodied and crisp, with aromas of spice and stone fruit. Warm peppery notes from the rye and grains of paradise accent the mild malt and fruity barbe rouge hop flavours.
The ninth release from the Small Batch Program is an extra-strong stout foeder-aged on whole raspberries. Beau’s X Halcyon Sour Raspberry Stout pours black with a tan foam. Berry aromas mingle with hints of chocolate and coffee. Tart raspberry accents the dark stout roast, with lingering notes of red wine and bourbon.
Weizenbock is the eighth release from the Small Batch program . A dark German wheat beer with aromas of chocolate, banana and raisin bread. Malty but not heavy, with banana and clove, notes of sweet caramel and well aged rum.
The seventh release from the Small Batch program is a Smashed Orange Imperial Stout. This rich imperial stout combines roasty dark malts, cacao nibs and a twist of orange peel for the decadent taste of chocolate-orange in a glass.
The sixth Small Batch Release is a Helles. Helles a traditional golden lager is a bona fide beer garden classic. It’s clean, unpretentious, and best served nice and cold.
The Fifth Small Batch release is a Lime Ginger Saison. The Lime Ginger Saison is dry and refreshing, with a cocktail-style twist courtesy of dried lime peel and fresh ginger. The complexity is enhanced by the characteristic Belgian yeast spiciness and mild earthy undertones.
Beau’s Small Batch Release #4 (Dark Czech Pilsner) pours a nearly opaque dark brown/black with a tan foam. The aroma features malt-derived notes of dark whole grain bread and chocolate. The flavour is rich and malty with a silky mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and clean.
