Ballot

Session Pale Ale • 4.1% • Limited Edition Release

Ballot is a session pale ale brewed in celebration of the power of the people and the democratic process. It was brewed specifically to enjoy following municipal elections in Ontario, held Oct. 27, 2014.

History & Style

Session pale ales are brewed to lower original gravities than their traditional pale ale cousins, resulting in lowering their alcohol content while retaining robust flavour and aroma.

Tasting Notes

This cloudy, dark and unfiltered wheat beer displays intriguing clove and banana aromas. The flavours follow, while adding in a chocolate and mocha undercurrent. The beer finishes dry with a slightly tart spicyness, and the alcohol is moderately warming.
