History & Style
The Maibock style is a Bavarian lager historically brewed for consumption in May when the weather is still cool. Aptly named, Beau’s decided to create Oktobock in recognition of Ontario’s crisp Fall season. Traditionally, Maibocks are strong in alcohol and malty in flavour.
Oktobock pours a bright orange-gold and features aromas of biscuit, candy sweetness, and spicy hop bitterness. A medium body is complemented by peppery flavour and a pleasant malty sweetness. The finish is crisp and clean.
