S2 E5: Lagered Tales, presented by Beau’s
Secret Lives Episode: 3 Beau’s employees who have hidden talents beyond the world of beer; talking to “Super Fans” about their obsessions
Today’s show is the final episode of this season of Lagered Tales and is hosted by Beau’s co-founder Tim Beauchesne and his daughter, Jen Beauchesne. They chat about best and worst birthdays ever, and why Tim hasn’t eaten a chocolate éclair since he was nine.
Next up, we dig into the secret lives and hidden talents of three Beau’s employees and find out what really cool things they do when aren’t making or selling craft beer. From an all natural hot sauce company, to freelance illustration for some of the world’s most notable magazines, to a passion for creating art, we prove that Beau’s really does have the Best Staff in Ontario.
After that Eddy Earwigg explores the intriguing phenomenon of “Super Fans” and their obsessions different things. What makes someone like Rose Sanatgar fall in love with the magical world of Disney? Or like Martin Pageau, love Beau’s enough to get a tractor tattoo and make it the theme of his wedding? We also meet Chris Rayburn (or is it Ratburn?), the Super Fan turned-Beau’s-sales-rep who wrote our podcast theme song.
Upcoming events highlighted in this episode: Beau’s Oktoberfest! Tickets are on sale now.
