Three Awards in One Week for Beau’s All Natural

Local craft brewery celebrated for innovative packaging design, business practices and entrepreneurship

OTTAWA – (Apr. 27, 2015) It has been an award-winning week for Beau’s All Natural Brewing, during which the local craft brewers received three distinctions: an Applied Arts Magazine Award for Excellence in Packaging Design, an Ottawa Chamber of Commerce “Forty Under 40” entrepreneurial award for Beau’s co-founder Steve Beauchesne, and recognition as “Grande Entreprise de L’Année” (Large Business of the Year) by the Regroupement Des Gens D’Affaires de la Capitale Nationale (RGA).

On Monday April 20, Canada’s Applied Arts Magazine announced its 2015 Design Awards winners, which included Beau’s. The most recent Applied Arts Magazine Award for Beau’s Brewery is its eighth since 2011, and marks five years in a row of winning in this Canadian design contest. The 2015 Applied Arts award, in the Wine-Beer-Spirits category, recognizes the creative efforts invested into the Beau’s Wild Oats Series of beers.

On Friday April 24, Beau’s co-founder Steve Beauchesne found himself counted among the 2015 “Forty Under 40” recipients in the Nation’s Capital. Forty Under 40 recognizes accomplished leaders who are under the age of 40 and also give back to their community. The awards are co-hosted by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Ottawa Business Journal. A gala recognizing the winners is slated for June 18. A list of this year’s recipients can be found at this link: http://business.ottawachamber.ca/news/details/unveiling-our-2015-forty-under-40-recipients.

And on Saturday April 25, Beau’s All Natural was awarded the “Grande Entreprise de L’Année” (Large Business of the Year) Award by the Regroupement Des Gens D’Affaires (RGA) de la Capitale Nationale. This is the 29th Year that the RGA has recognized the efforts of businesspeople in the Ottawa-Gatineau region for their leadership, innovative spirit, commitment to the development of their business, business ethics, and commitment to the Francophone business community.

“It is always very humbling to receive awards or accolades, and in this case it’s extra-special because they go beyond the beer we make, to recognizing the difference we make in the local community, as well as our marketing and our business practices,” says Beau’s co-founder Steve Beauchesne. “It’s great to receive this recognition, and it fires us up to do even better,” he adds.

The addition of these awards brings to 78 the total number of awards for Beau’s All Natural Brewing since opening its doors in Eastern Ontario in 2006.
