About The Beer
It’s All About the Beer
Everything at Beau’s starts with a real love for craft beer. Our brew team is unrelentingly passionate about quality. We do our best to create inspired recipes that pay respect to the longstanding traditions of beer-making, and at the same time bring the drinker a truly unique experience. In short, it really is all about the beer.
Distinguished and inimitable, Lug-Tread Lagered Ale is the first-ever Beau’s beer brewed, and is also our flagship. Multi-award-winning and versatile enough to suit all seasons and any occasion, Lug-Tread is available year-round on tap at restaurants and pubs, and in bottles from retail sales chains and stores, as well as from our brewery.

The Tom Green Beer! is our milk stout, brewed in collaboration with Canadian actor and comedian Tom Green. With roasty flavours of chocolate and coffee, and a creamy, velvety texture, the end result is a sessionable, flavourful and robust stout – also available year-round. In 2013 The Tom Green Beer! won best beer at the Session Craft Beer Festival in Toronto, ON.
Farm Table Series
The Farm Table Series from Beau’s launched in August 2015. Farm Table Series beers are inspired by tradition, and each brewed true to a classic style. Each Farm Table release will be featured seasonally.
The series is designed to complement the more experimental Wild Oats Series, and to allow the craft beer drinker to choose to drink to his or her taste, or to the occasion.
Wild Oats Series
Our Wild Oats Series is dedicated to exploring bold flavours and exciting aromas that have the capability of literally changing how you think and feel about beer. In creating the Wild Oats recipes we are not afraid to interpret classic styles in new ways, advance evolution with new hybrids or brewing techniques, and learn to brew with rare ingredients. These beers will not be for the timid beer drinker, but for those looking for a taste that is bold and exciting the Wild Oats are just the ticket. Wild Oats are limited-time offerings, and we brew up a new Wild Oats recipe about a dozen times a year.
Awards for Our Wild Oats
- Bronze, Patio Saison (Canadian Brewing Awards 2012)
- Bronze, Winterbrewed Coffee Amber (Canadian Brewing Awards 2013)
Beau’s Gruit Series takes inspiration from centuries-old brewing tradition; a time before the Bavarian Purity Act of 1516 that declared that all beer be made solely with barley, hops, and water. In gruit ale, herbs, spices and other botanicals replace a dominant hop character, throwing open the door to experimentation. Each gruit in this series will have a unique combination of ingredients and flavours.
Awards for Our Gruit Series
- Silver, Grandmaster OG (Canadian Brewing Awards 2015)
Beau’s Pro-Am Series is a salute to home brewers, true innovators of our craft. The beers in this series began as recipes designed by amateur brewers. These home brewers compete each year to win “best beer,” and the winning brewer gets the chance to brew a batch of his or her recipe at Beau’s, under the watchful eye of our brewing team.
Awards for Our Pro Ams
