Oktinyfest COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

COVID-19 safety is at the heart of our Oktinyfest planning, and we want to assure you that we have a robust plan in place for keeping everyone safe throughout.

Beau’s Brewery Plan:

  • No food or drink will be served from or allowed inside the brewery. Oktinyfest is not an indoor/outdoor event. It takes place entirely outdoors on the brewery’s licensed patio area (although we will be making the patio bigger for the day.)
  • Guests will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon arrival.
  • Oktinyfest guests will be assigned seats when they arrive, in alignment with current outdoor patio rules. Tables will allow for 2m distancing from all guests not at your table. Our tables allow for 2x groups of 2, 1x group of 4, or one household of up to 8.
  • In general, guests will remain seated at all times unless buying food or drink or using the washroom. We have a few socially distanced activities planned (e.g. stein hold) but they are organized and will happen within our safety guidelines.
  • Masks are required when waiting in line for food, drink or washroom (though we hope to keep the lines short as possible!)
  • Session tickets are capped to ensure a safe and seated guest capacity. No walk-up tickets will be sold beyond that cap.
  • Sanitation will be frequent during the sessions and conducted thoroughly between sessions.
  • Musicians will be playing at a safe distance from all guests.
  • Washrooms and shopping will be open indoors but will require guests to be masked (retail rules). Additional outdoor washrooms will be set up. Our indoor space capacity is 19 people at a time, and that limit will be adhered to.
  • Vaccine Certificates will not be required to attend, as this is an outdoor only event.
  • Steins will not be filled from our taps. All beer will be served in single-use cups made from plant sources. You are free to drink from your stein at your table. Prost!
  • There is no dancing or cheering.
  • Anyone not adhering to our safety requirements will be immediately addressed by Beau’s staff or security, and/or asked to leave.

Windsor Tavern After-Party Plan:

  • Vaccine Certificates will be required for all restaurants and bars in Ontario starting September 22, and will be required to attend the Oktinyfest After Parties at the Windsor Tavern (two vaccinations plus 14 days).
  • Proof of identity required (such as a driver’s license or health card).
  • In general, guests will remain seated at all times unless buying drinks or using the washroom.
  • Masks are required when waiting in line for drinks or the washroom.
  • Session tickets are capped to ensure a safe and seated guest capacity. No walk-up tickets will be sold beyond that cap.
  • Sanitation will be frequent during the sessions and conducted thoroughly between sessions.
  • Musicians will be playing at a safe distance from all guests.
  • Anyone not adhering to safety requirements will be immediately addressed by staff, and/or asked to leave.
