Le Coeur Noir

I.P.A. Noire • 7,1 % • Série Wild Oats No 60

The Black Heart The Black Heart was developed and brewed in collaboration with Jordan Rainhard of Toronto’s Rainhard Brewing Brewery ( www.rainhardbrewing.com ). This « Black IPA », almost opaque, releases aromas of fruity and resinous hops from which evade intonations of malt, roasting and a touch of mocha.

History and style

The « Black IPA » is a contemporary American beer style that combines the black beer color, the pronounced flavors and aromas of the hops, and the roasted (rather than roasted) character of the dark malt. The Black Heart Black Heart was first brewed in February 2015 as part of the annual FeBREWary festivities of Beau’s Brewery.

Distinctive Notes

This ale, although robust, preserves the good integration of alcohol. The overall balance of flavors, supported by a strong malty aftertaste, makes it possible to highlight the impression of juicy and resinous hops.
