And Boom Gose the Dynamite

Gose • 4.6% • Wild Oats No. 27

This hazy yellow, German-style beer is based on a recently revived beer style called a gose. Brewed with an addition of sea salt and organic coriander seeds, expect citrusy aromas followed by a pleasant saltiness and a hint of subtle acidity in each sip.

History & Style

The Gose style takes its name from a river that flows through the town of Goslar, in Lower Saxony. The saltiness, which typifies the style, is attributable to the mineral-rich aquifers that supplied the water for brew houses in the region.

Tasting Notes

Pours cloudy yellow with a billowing white head. Aromas are of citrus, and a slight tartness leads into a salty mouthfeel.
