Two Weeks Notice

German Porter • 6.0% • Wild Oats No. 12

Two Weeks Notice (German Porter) features aromas of chocolate and coffee, malty sweetness, a medium body with flavours of roasted malt, and a crisp finish with a lingering mocha character.

History & Style

This rare style was developed in the early 20th century by German brewers as a direct competitor to the popular London Porter. While there are many similarities between the two styles, German Porter is unique because it is brewed with lager yeast and is typically stronger than an English Porter.

Tasting Notes

Mocha and herbal, floral aromas are followed by a roasted, biscuity malt character. Two Weeks Notice features a smooth medium body with a clean, crisp finish.
