No need to load up your mortar and pestle – we’ve done it for you. The Spice Principle puts to use a bounty of 12 organic spices to intensify the lively flavour profile in this “spice weiss” – an imaginative take on the German-style weissbier.


History & Style

The Wild Oats Series is dedicated to exploring bold flavours that may literally change how you think about beer. In creating these recipes we are not afraid to interpret classic styles in new ways and advance evolution with new hybrids or brewing techniques. Weissbier is a German-style wheat ale, with a history that goes back to Bavarian brewing in the 16th century.

Tasting Notes

The Spice Principle pours deep gold with orange undertones and features a thick white foam. The aroma exhibits a cornucopia-like range of spice and fruit with notes of coriander, turmeric, cumin, pepper, ginger, banana and bubblegum. The flavour reflects this complexity and shares both spritzy liveliness and mild spicy heat. The finish is dry and appetizing.
