History & Style

The Quadrupel (or Quad) is a strong Belgian style of ale known for its dark tint, full body and bold malt flavour. The Quad is related to the perhaps better-known Dubbel and Tripel Trappist Abbey ales. Quads & Rockers is a classic Belgian dark ale in a spanking new getup.

Tasting Notes

Quads & Rockers pours a deep mahogany with a tan head. The aroma provides notes of banana, raisin, and mocha. The full, warming flavour impression includes elements such as cacao powder, cooked banana and a touch of black pepper. The long finish continues to warm.

Food Pairings

Roast chicken stuffed with dates, prunes & dried apples; prosciutto wrapped dates; lamb and dried apricot curry; Babas (French yeast cakes) in rye beer syrup; rich pungent cheeses like La Sauvagine, aged blue cheese, dark chocolate pudding cake.
