Doc’s Feet

Dubble • 7.6% • Pro-Am Series No. 4

Doc’s Feet is our take on the Belgian Dubbel, a centuries old style invented by Trappist brewers. This complex, mahogany-hued strong ale has a pronounced fruitiness and malt character, alongside spicy notes and alcohol warmth.

History & Style

Belgian Dubbels were first brewed by monks from Belgium’s Trappist breweries in preparation of special events or holidays. Doc’s Feet Dubbel was first brewed as a Pro-Am collaboration with Tim Gregory, winner of the 2011 Toronto Beer Week Homebrew Contest.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of baking spices like cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg complement dried fruit flavours such as sultanas, and bright peppery notes. The initial sweetness of Doc’s Feet Dubbel progresses toward a dry, slightly earthy finish.
