A kiss of whiskey adds a layer of complexity to this porter ale made with peanut butter and grape juice. Originally released as Elephant Monsoon in February 2016, “Definitely Contains Nuts” took up a short residency in whiskey barrels for this limited-edition release.
“Definitely Contains Nuts” pours black with a tan foam and is virtually opaque. Aromas of grape whisky barrel mingle. The flavour features notes of mixed nuts, coffee, grapes and raisin-like dried fruits. The finish offers lingering dark chocolate impressions and dry tannic warmth.

Local spring water, organic barley malts, organic concord grape juice, organic peanut butter (organic peanuts, organic coconut sugar, sea salt), organic hops, brewer’s yeast.
