Barrel Aged Blend of Gilgamesh and Channel Ocho • 10.5% • Greener Futures ProjectChannel Ocho (Mexican Spiced Ale) aged 11 months in Bourbon barrels, Gilgamesh (Old Ale) aged in Red Wine barrels for 14 months.
This blend has a brown/black colour with garnet highlights. The aroma offers up a complex array of impressions. Baking spice cupboard, red wine, sultanas, black licorice, and chipotle are all evident. Robust flavours of wine, oak and dried fruit follow with a subtle hint of cocoa. The finish is long with lingering peppery heat.
