About Canada C3

Canada C3 is a signature project for Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation in 2017. The centrepiece is an epic 150-day sailing journey from Toronto to Victoria via the Northwest Passage that is connecting Canadians from coast to coast to coast and inspiring a deeper understanding of our land, our peoples and the past, present and future of our country.

 

About Lug Tread

Since 2006 Beau’s All Natural has brewed its year-round flagship beer, the inimitable Lug Tread Lagered Ale. This tasty golden ale is top-fermented (like an ale) and then cold-aged (like a lager), giving it light ale notes complemented by a lager-like crispness. Like all Beau’s beer, Lug-Tread is brewed with certified organic malts and hops, and local spring water. Lug-Tread is multi-award-winning, and versatile enough to suit all seasons and every occasion.

The tracks left in the mud from a small tractor’s Lug-Tread tell the tale of honest hard work, close family ties and the promise of the unparalleled taste of an all natural product. Golden-hued, crisp and finely balanced, Lug-Tread is our tribute to the classic beer of Cologne, Germany.

Tasting Notes

Lug-Tread displays interwoven malt and hop flavours, subtle fruit notes, and a crisp, lingering finish. A satisfying Graham cracker malt character mingles beautifully with notes of freshly cut hay. A perfect year-round beer with satisfying, chewy malts to warm in the colder months, and a refreshing, crisp finish to quench a summer’s thirst.

Pizza marinara; salad Niçoise; brined & slow roasted pork shoulder; picnic fare such as cold roast chicken; pâté; Abbey-style cheeses.
