Beau’s Helles lager in single cans for summer
Beau’s Brewing Co. is making its crisp and refreshing Helles lager available singly in 473 ml cans, for a summer 2019 seasonal release. Smooth and satisfying, this 5% ABV traditional golden lager is a perfect match for all the best brands of summer fun.
A bona fide beer garden classic, the helles style evolved in Germany during the 19th century as a made-in-Munich version of the Czech’s popular pilsner. Pleasantly mild bread and malt aromas are followed by similar fresh bread and malt flavours held in balance by finessed hop bitterness. Beau’s Brewmaster Matthew O’Hara recommends pairing it with sausages with sharp mustard, or soft cheeses like Havarti. It also serves as an excellent brining liquid for whole chicken (to be paired when ready with a fresh Helles, of course!)
