Tickets on sale today for Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party 2017!

Beau’s All Natural Brewery has announced that tickets will go on sale to the public today at 10 am for the 2017 Beau’s St. Patrick’s Day Party. The cultural celebration, which will kick off Irish Week in Ottawa this year, is an official event of Ottawa 2017, presented by the local craft brewery in partnership with the Irish Society of the National Capital Region.

Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party will take place in Ottawa Saturday March 11 at Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne Park. It will begin at noon immediately following the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, and will run until 11 pm. The event will feature live music and plenty of Ontario craft beer on tap. Irish-themed food, traditional entertainment and dance, and activities will round out this family-friendly event. Like last year, tickets will be limited to 2,000 due to capacity of the venue.

“The Irish Society is thrilled to be a part of the Ottawa 2017 celebrations! Last year our members came out to a party that had grown by 200% from previous years,” says Lauren Strevens O’Neil, Communications Director of the Irish Society of the National Capital Region. “The Irish Society loved seeing so much of the Irish community out showing off their talents last year! We’re looking forward to another great event of sharing both the Irish/Canadian culture with the community, and a few pints with friends old and new,” she adds.

Celtic party rockers The Peelers from Montréal will be headlining the evening’s live music line-up. Kicking things off will be Bodh’aktan, a Québec-based band whose music combines a Celtic flair with elements of polka and punk, as well as traditional Québecois, and Maritime. Also adding energy to the night will be Ottawa’s Blakdenim, with music that fuses hip-hop, funk, rock and soul. A variety of traditional live Irish music and dance will entertain event-goers throughout the day.

A dozen different Beau’s beers will be on tap for the festivities, and Beau’s will be adding some guest breweries to the line-up, as well as gluten-free beer and cider. Beau’s is bringing back a fan-favourite beer for the occasion, their Strong Patrick Irish Red Ale, and the brewery kitchen team is busy preparing a food menu to pair with the various beer selections.

The Aberdeen Pavilion is at Lansdowne Park, located at 1000 Exhibition Way in Ottawa. Doors open for the event at noon on Saturday March 11. OC Transpo will be allowing Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party ticket holders to ride to and from Aberdeen Pavilion for free on March 11, from 9 am to 3 hours after the end of the event – note that a physical print-out of the ticket is required.

Tickets for Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party are on sale at 10 am today at www.StPatricksParty.ca. Tickets are $29 for adults (14 and up) and include a beverage; $5 for those 12 and under. Everyone under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult. Would-be guests are encouraged to buy tickets now to avoid disappointment, as last year’s event sold out completely in a matter of weeks.
