Intersection Festival

Sep 05, 2015
Toronto

A day of performance and interactive installations  taking place in the heart of Toronto at Yonge-Dundas Square from 2-10pm. Robert Everett Green of the Globe and Mail describes the event as “[a] marathon of sound in the middle of traffic.” This year Music in the Barns presents composer John Oswald’s epic composition, “Spectre,” recreated for 1000 string instruments.

For this special participatory performance John & Music in the Barns have taken on the challenge of getting 1000 string players to come to Yonge & Dundas Square to join them in the performance of this ground-shattering work.
