We would like you to join our team! We are currently searching for Oktoberfest Intern in Ottawa/Vankleek Hill for part time hourly paid position. Twenty hours per week, forty hours two-three weeks surrounding Oktoberfest.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete research projects as assigned
  • Attend to sponsorship fulfillments
  • Communication with infrastructure suppliers, scheduling and logistics
  • Work directly with Oktoberfest Coordinator
  • Assist with pre-event planning and post event administration as needed
  • Attend community planning sessions

Requirements:
Ability to work independently and deliver assignments on time
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
Able to work in groups
Interest in the festival industry
An enthusiastic, fun and outgoing personality
Prior customer service experience, preferably in busy environments
Bilingualism is an asset
Smart Serve certification an asset
Access to a vehicle ability to travel
Personal computer / research skills
Ability to work long hours the week prior, during a the week post Oktoberfest
Previous event installation and dismantle experience is an asset
Physically able to lift heavy equipment

Candidates may have the opportunity to continue working for Beau’s on a part-time on-call basis following the completion of the internship if so desired.
