Märzen is the traditional Oktoberfest style of beer, and our only regularly produced lager. This orangey-amber, malty beer has just the right amount of hops to balance the Munich malts, and features an ultra clean finish to complete the package. We first brewed Night Märzen in 2008 to welcome harvest time, pairing a beer to the tradition, heritage and sense of promise that is felt in the local farming communities. Our small gathering to celebrate the harvest that year has grown into our annual Beau’s Oktoberfest, a tradition we’ll continue this year, next year… and the year after that too!

HISTORY & STYLE
Märzen is a traditional German lager style that takes its name from the month of March when it was historically brewed. The beer would then be lagered in cellars through the summer and then released for Oktoberfest celebrations.
Bready, biscuity malt backbone complemented by a firm hop presence that lends balancing bitterness, and promotes its high drinkability.
Dark rye bread, stone fruit, roast chicken with arugula, homemade pretzels & mustard.
