Beau’s Gruit Series takes inspiration from centuries-old brewing tradition: herbs, spices and other botanicals replace a dominant hop character. Grandmaster O.G. is an intensified and imperialized version of Original Gruit, brewed with Labrador tea, bog myrtle, thyme and yarrow.

History & Style
Expect four limited-edition imperial-strength gruits each year from Beau’s, to complement the Gruit Series. These amped-up recipes are based on the other gruits in the series, but are intensified versions that have bolder flavours and higher alcohol strength.
Grandmaster O.G. pours deep gold with white foam. An assertive sweet, floral, citrusy and somewhat piney aroma is displayed. The flavour is herbaceous, mildly sweet and slightly peppery. Grandmaster O.G. is medium-bodied, lightly tannic and has a lingering, herbal finish.
Grilled Albacore tuna with lemon & rosemary butter, classic roast chicken with pan gravy, grilled halloumi cheese with olive oil & za’atar.
