Fous Alliés

In 2012 Beau’s Brewery collaborated with our good friends at Shawinigan, Québec’s Microbrasserie Trou Du Diable to create Fous Alliés (“Crazy Allies”), a mango fruit-infused saison.

History & Style

Fous Alliés is based on the classic, refreshing and snappy saison style, which has its origins in the Wallonia region of Belgium. It comes with an intriguing fruit twist courtesy of a hearty addition of organic mango purée.

Tasting Notes

Expect tropical fruit aroma with peppery notes; the flavour is also fruity and faintly tart, with a pleasant, dry finish. Lively carbonation and hints of white pepper accentuate the quaffable character. A mild mango flavour adds complexity, slight earthiness, and playfulness to the presentation.

Food Pairings

Pan-seared scallops with grilled peaches; baked brie with Italian mustard fruits; chicken with mango salsa.
