Mix Pack
4 x 600mL • 2014

Each Best of Beau’s Mix Pack contains one 600mL bottle of…

Coffee-Amber • 6.0% alc/vol
Winterbrewed Coffee-Amber is a collaborative creation with our friends at Ottawa’s Bridgehead Roastery, celebrating all that brewing great beer and great coffee have in common. This amber ale is infused with Mexican microlot organic fair trade coffee from Bridgehead. Fruity nuances of lime and peach show up alongside a bold roasted coffee presence, which is interwoven with caramel inflections from the malt. Beau’s Winterbrewed was a Bronze-medal winner at the 2013 Canadian Brewing Awards.

Burnt Rock

Vanilla Porter • 5.6% alc/vol
Burnt Rock is a classic British-style porter, brewed with an addition of organic vanilla beans. With rich, luxurious aromas reminiscent of fine tobacco, select dark malts offer up balancing chocolate and coffee nuances to this medium-bodied beer. Burnt Rock was brewed first in 2012, as part of our Pro-Am Series of beers designed by amateur brewers and brewed at Beau’s – cheers to its creator, Patrick Boisvenue! The 2013 edition of Burnt Rock Vanilla Porter won Gold at Montreal’s Mondial de la Bière.

St. Luke’s Verse

Lavender Gruit • 5.7% alc/vol
Copper-coloured St. Luke’s Verse offers up an aromatic bouquet of lavender, thyme and rosemary, which present in unison as a deliciously drinkable potpourri. The legend of St. Luke’s Verse has it that young maidens wanting to know their true love’s identity would sip a lavender brew at bedtime, chanting, “St. Luke, be kind to me. In my dreams, let me my true love see.” Gruits are beers made with herbs, spices and other botanicals, and St. Luke’s Verse was first brewed in 2013 for International Gruit Day (Feb. 1).

Mission Accomplished

American IPA • 6.7% alc/vol
First brewed as part of Beau’s FeBREWary celebrations in 2014, Mission Accomplished is brewed with a bold hop aroma and assertive bitterness. The combination of organic American and New Zealand hops give the beer sweet, juicy notes of tangerine, tropical fruit and pine. Bready malts provide some backbone but ultimately must surrender to the smooth hop bitterness. The American yeast supplies mild, fruity esters that ease back and allow the hops to take their rightful place in the spotlight. Mission Accomplished!
